The desire for others’ approval and reassurance creates sensitivity to real or imagined signs of rejection. - Jennifer Crocker & Lora Park
I work a lot with Rejection. People who don’t want to take action as they fear rejection. People who have to take action and are being rejected. People who want to take action and get rejected.
It controls us. And yet it is nothing.
Rejection is a thing that happens, but how we feel about it is our choice.
So I was intrigued when this quote popped up ‘our desire for approval creates signs of rejection’. If we include approval in our goals, rejection comes with it.
So what if we do stuff without the need for approval? We do Unapproved stuff.
Unapproved
Unapproved
Unapproved

Would we still apply so much energy to Rejection?
One to play with today!
