We all have them. Avoidance Tactics.
I was talking to my fellow Another Doorer Amanda Paradine today and the topic came up about avoiding things. And sometimes how good we all are at avoiding things. And the amazing stories we tell ourselves to avoid something. Even if its something we really really want.
We believe the Avoidance Tactic more than we want our Goal.
If you want change in your life you have accept that you want it. And clear the space for it. If you dont make space, because of ‘Things’, then you know the change will never come. But you’ve convinced yourself so much that the Avoidance Tactic is real you’ve settled that the change will never come. But yet you still want it.
You might be avoiding something because of what you think might happen. The fear of failure, the fear of rejection, the fear of success even!
But be reassured.
We are all avoiding something.
The problem is if it’s getting in the way of bringing change into life that you really want.
